Biography

Carie grew up in Germantown, Tennessee and is a graduate of Hutchison School. She received her BA in Education from Millsaps College and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, becoming a licensed therapist in 2013. Carie has been a Certified Manual Trigger Point Therapist- Dry Needling since 2015. She is one of a few APTA Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialists in the Memphis area, earning this credential in 2017. She began work with concussion physical therapy in 2018 and became a RRCA Certified Running Coach in 2020! Carie continually strives to expand her knowledge of treatments, currently completing her Certification in Graston Technique.

Carie has a passion for running medicine and athlete injury prevention. She founded Memphis Kinetics alongside therapist Jennifer Brown in 2017 with the mission to try to help all level of athletes perform at their best and stay injury free. Her background in triathlons, group training, cheer, and her volunteer work on the sidelines of Memphis University School football inspired her to launch Memphis Kinetics with the belief that early intervention is the key to keeping athletes of all types healthy. Carie’s mantra is performance train with a balanced plan, identify risks and address them, and help the body in recovery along they way!

Dr. Ashley Chasteen Morgan, PT, DPT, CMTPT

Biography

Ash is a Memphis native and Houston High Alum. She earned her BS in Interdisciplinary studies with concentrations in Video Production, Math Education, and Soccer Coaching (2012) and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2015) both from Arkansas State University (Howl Yes!). Ash is a Certified Manual Trigger Point Therapist- Dry Needling- trained through Myopain Seminars.

Ash has a passion for geriatrics and a special interest in the “healthy ager” working on gaining and maintaining mobility and stability as well as balance improvement and fall prevention.

Ash grew up playing soccer competitively with Lobos soccer club. Unfortunately, several head injuries ended her playing career. Still having a deep passion for the sport, Ash coached competitive soccer for 6 years in Jonesboro, AR before moving back to Memphis. Ash knows first hand significant injuries that plague the sport and loves the opportunity that the DorsaVi technology provides to identify areas of risk and address them before injury strikes. Ash joined Memphis Kinetics in 2019 and is stoked to continue to provide guidance, treatment, and support for all in need.
